Summitview Community Church is a nondenominational, biblically-based, Christian church. Our church is not a building, but people committed to one another, united in the belief that God has given us a new life and a new future through our shared relationship with Jesus Christ. We are a spiritual family, pursuing deep, meaningful relationships through the love God has for everyone.

 

Discipleship Teams

These are an essential part of Summitview's community. These teams, made up of 5 to 15 people, meet weekly in homes, with a focus on developing relationships, exploring the Bible and prayer. You are always welcome to become part of this vital dimension of our church life.

Membership

We believe that God is honored and individuals are blessed by making a commitment to their local church. If you are interested in membership at Summitview, watch for "Discovery", a class designed to familiarize people with the beauty of Christianity and our vision as a church. The Discovery class is offered several times throughout the year.

Seminars

We provide a variety of seminars throughout the year including Evangelism Training, Pre-marriage Counseling (To Have and To Hold), and Women's Ministry. Our goal with these seminars is to encourage people down a continuing path in their relationship and commitment to Christ.

Leadership Development

Our leadership development takes place predominately within the context of discipleship team leadership. The Leadership Training Class (LTC) is designed to equip and train discipleship team leaders.

Transforming the Culture of Fort Collins

We believe that the message of God's redemption should do more than affect the individual; it should transform the culture for good. We desire for our church to be a driving force to meet needs and bring the love of God to our city.

Multiplying Great Commission Churches

We believe that the church is the best way to mobilize the message of God's love and free gift of Christ. Our vision is to continue to plant churches in the U.S. and beyond to bring the tranforming power of Christ to the whole world.

The Great Commission Is God's Purpose For Every Believer

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20

The Local Church

We believe that the local church is God's primary vehicle for bulding up believers and fulfilling the Great Commission.

"His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, according to this eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord." Ephesians 3:10,11

Whole Life Discipleship

"We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ." Colossians 1:28

Local Church Development of Character Based Leadership

"Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood." Acts 20:28

Biblically-Based Relationships

"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." John 13:34-35

Believing God For BIG Things

Wholehearted Servanthood
