The single mom’s ministry at Summitview exists to help single moms feel at home at Summitview. We provide opportunities for fellowship with other single moms, as well as helping with things like childcare and transportation so that you can attend other church functions and be an active part of the larger body.
Currently we are hosting potlucks one Saturday night per month, just before the Women’s Coffeehouses. Come and join us for food and fellowship. You can bring a side dish or dessert to share, but it is not required – just come! Childcare is then provided free of charge from 6:30-8:30 so you can attend the coffeehouse. The potluck is from 5-6:30 on the following Saturdays: November 5, January 7, February 4, March 3 and May 5. Contact Vanessa or Melissa for more information.
Also, mark your calendars for the regional single women’s conference February 24-26. We are working on providing childcare during the day on Saturday the 25th so that you can bring your kids along and enjoy a weekend family getaway!
