Fort Collins Infusion - May 25th-August 1st
The Rock will be infusing Fort Collins with the love of Christ this summer. We'll be living in the AGR house, growing in fellowship, learning about "being a laborer," playing ultimate frisbee, having bar-b-ques, camping, serving Summitview Community Church and the Fort Collins community, helping with VBS, and much more! Our prayer is that this exciting summer will, above all, glorify Christ and bear eternal fruit for the Kingdom!
Brazil - May 29th-June 9th
The team heading to Brazil is a group of single women from various demographics in our church. They will be going to Anapolis, Brazil and leading a Vacation Bible School for Wycliffe missionary kids from around South America while their parents are attending a conference.
Honduras - July 10th-August 10th
This is Summitview's annual trip to assist the GCLA church in Honduras. The team plans to serve by assisting in the ministry God has given the church. This team may be helping to build a self-sustaining community for those affected by the AIDs virus in the area. They plan to build homes and orphanages, to provide for the basic food needs of the poor, and to share the gospel. They may also help with staff development for local teachers.
Pine Ridge, SD - July 15th-18th
Summitviewers from all Seasons of Life will travel to South Dakota to facilitate a Vacation Bible School and serve the residents. If you're interested in joining this mission team, contact the church office.
Nepal - May 31st-June 12th, 2010
El Salvador - May 15th-29th, 2010
Throughout this mission trip, the team members will teach English classes to university students, have relevant conversations with students, have a mini-soccer tournament, and help the poor. Classes will be interlaced with a Christ-centered theme, and the trip will end with a closing outreach event.
Parker, CO - June 26th-July 3rd, 2010
The group heading to Parker will be teaming up with Prairie View Community Church reaching out to children of all ages. They will be promoting and facilitating sports camps at three parks that have been built around new housing areas, spending two days at each park. The trip will be concluded with a community BBQ for the individuals and families the team connected with throughout the week.
