The Membership Class is Summitview's first course in Christian spirituality and life together in our local church. This course is designed to help you grow in your understaning of what Christianity is all about and to introduce you to our church community.
God has a purpose for the world and everyone in it. First of all, he wants to establish an intimate, eternal relationship with every person. He is building a kingdom whose doorway is faith in Jesus Christ.
God's plan to build His Kingdom unfolds through the church. God has chosen to use the church to act as His agents, indeed His body in this world. It is the church that is to share God's love with the world and build disciples - fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. It is our hope that you will become a part of God's plan in a community you can commit to that inspires and challenges you to great faith. We would love that community to be Summitview!
Jesus communicated to many people with a variety of social, educational and spiritual backgrounds. Regardless of your background, God has called you to be a vital part of His church. God desires to have a growing relationship with everyone and we hope our Membership Class can help you define a specific path for continued growth.
The Summitview community is a group of people with a shared desire to grow closer to Christ and help others do the same. Our goal is to help individuals connect a growing passion for Christ with the needs of the world around us. Our desire is that as you discover our church and our mission, you will be able to say "This is my spiritual home. I feel like I belong here."
