There are a lot of ways to get to know someone.

You can ask questions about favorite things or personal beliefs, look in their refrigerator, and hang out over coffee to see how much cream and sugar they add. In our culture, you can even look someone up online through search engines and social media, slowly piecing together who someone is without even meeting face-to-face.
